Ordinance No.           16765               Council Bill No.            B 23-01           

vacating underground electric easements located within the Boone Hospital Medical Park; directing the City Clerk to have a copy of this ordinance recorded; accepting a conveyance for electric and water purposes; directing the City Clerk to have the conveyance recorded; and fixing the time when this ordinance shall become effective.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLUMBIA, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:

    SECTION 1.  The City Council finds and determines that certain underground electric easements located within the Boone Hospital Medical Park, more particularly described as follows:

A tract of land located in Lot 1 Boone Hospital Medical Park in Columbia, Boone County, Missouri, plat recorded in book 26 page 58, being part of the tract described by an underground electric easement recorded in book 1124 page 271, further described as follows:

Beginning at a point on the south line of Lot 1 Boone Hospital Medical Park being S 84E07'50"E 63.64 feet, S 75E42'10"E 146.74 feet, S 71E49'50"E 129.59 feet, and S 76E23'10"E 288.37 feet from the southwest corner thereof, thence leaving said line, N 6E13'40"E 37.31 feet; thence S 76E23'10"E 43.56 feet; thence S 26E18'40"W 16.40 feet; thence N 76E23'10"W 21.75 feet; thence S 6E13'40"W 21.18 feet to the southerly line of Lot 1 Boone Hospital Medical Park; thence N 76E23'10"W, along said line, 16.13 feet to the beginning.  

     AND

All of the underground electric easement recorded in book 1441 page 295.

are in excess and surplus to the needs of the City and are hereby vacated.

    SECTION 2.  The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to cause a copy of this ordinance to be recorded in the office of the Recorder of Deeds of Boone County, Missouri.

    SECTION 3.  The conveyance to the City of Columbia, Missouri, a municipal corporation, more particularly described as follows:

Grant of Easement from the Trustees of Boone County Hospital, a/k/a Boone Hospital Center, dated December 22, 2000, more particularly described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part hereof as fully as if set forth herein verbatim.

is hereby accepted.

    SECTION 4.  The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to have the conveyance recorded in the office of the Boone County Recorder of Deeds.

    SECTION 5.  This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage.
