appropriating local parks sales tax revenues; adding three positions to the Parks and Recreation Department; amending the FY 2001 Pay Plan and the FY 2001 Classification Plan; and fixing the time when this ordinance shall become effective.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLUMBIA, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:

    SECTION 1.  Revenue to be received from the local park sales tax is hereby appropriated in the amounts and to the accounts set forth in “Exhibit A,” which is attached to and made a part of this ordinance.

    SECTION 2.  The following positions are added to the Parks and Recreation Department authorized personnel as shown in the FY 2001 Budget:

    (1)     Senior Parks Planner

    (1)    Management Support Specialist

    (1)    Groundskeeper II

    

    SECTION 3.  The FY 2001 Pay Plan and the FY 2001 Classification Plan are amended by adding the following positions to the Parks and Recreation Department:

    8700    Senior Parks Planner

    4203    Management Support Specialist

    2414    Groundskeeper II

    

    SECTION 4.  This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage.
