Ordinance No.            16781              Council Bill No.           B 39-01A            

authorizing the conveyance of a one-half interest in real property at the Walton Building site to the Chamber of Commerce; authorizing the City Manager to execute any other documents necessary to enable the City to clear the title to the property; and fixing the time when this ordinance shall become effective.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLUMBIA, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:

    SECTION 1.  The City Manager on behalf of the City of Columbia is hereby authorized to convey an undivided one-half interest in  real property at the Walton Building site to the Chamber of Commerce as provided for in the 1985 financing agreement between the City and the Chamber.

    SECTION 2.  The city manager is hereby authorized to execute all other documents relating to the release and termination of documents involved in the lease-purchase financing arrangements for the Convention and Visitors Bureau facility which remain as exceptions to title of the real property authorized to be conveyed by this ordinance.     

    SECTION 3.  This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage.
