Ordinance No.           16790               Council Bill No.            B 48-01           

authorizing the City Manager to execute an agreement with RS Electric; appropriating funds; and fixing the time when this ordinance shall become effective.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLUMBIA, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:

    SECTION 1.  The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an agreement with RS Electric for the purchase and installation of generator equipment.  The form and content of the agreement shall be substantially as set forth in "Exhibit A" attached hereto and made a part hereof as fully as if set forth herein verbatim.

    SECTION 2.  The sum of $959,539 is hereby appropriated from Retained Earnings Account No. 551-0000-351-01-00 to the Instruments and Apparatus Account No. 551-7130-880-66-41 for lease/financing of generator equipment.

    SECTION 3.  This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage.
