AN ORDINANCE
accepting conveyance for water main purposes; directing the City Clerk to have the conveyance
recorded; authorizing payment for the extra cost for constructing a 12inch water main rather
than an 8inch water main serving Arcadia, Plat 6; approving the engineer's report; and fixing the
time when this ordinance shall become effective.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLUMBIA, MISSOURI, AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The City of Columbia accepts the following conveyance:
Deed of Dedication from Arcadia Development Group, LLC, dated December 17, 2001, a copy
of which, marked "Exhibit A" is attached hereto and made a part hereof as fully as if set
forth
herein verbatim.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk is authorized and directed to have
the conveyance recorded in the
office of the Boone County
Recorder of Deeds.
SECTION 3. The Director of Finance is authorized to pay Arcadia
Development Group, LLC.,
$ 16,526.85 for installing a 12inch water main serving Arcadia, Plat 6. This amount is the
differential cost of installing a 12inch water main above the cost of installing an 8inch water
main. Payment shall be made from the Capital/Transmission and Distribution Mains Account
No. 55072208816860, WF0227922/Job 5, Project No. WT0010.
SECTION 4. The report of the Director of Water and Light on
the water mains serving
Arcadia, Plat 6 is approved and accepted.
SECTION 5. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage.
