authorizing the City Manager to execute an amendment to the agreement with Sverdrup Civil, Inc. for water system improvements; appropriating funds; and fixing the time when this ordinance shall become effective.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLUMBIA, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:

    SECTION 1.  The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an amendment to the agreement with Sverdrup Civil, Inc. for water system improvements.  The form and content of the amendment shall be substantially as set forth in "Exhibit A" attached hereto and made a part hereof as fully as if set forth herein verbatim.

    SECTION 2.  The sum of $ 18,500 is hereby appropriated from the Unappropriated Fund Balance Account No. 550-0000-351.01-00 to the Miscellaneous Contractual Capital Projects Account No. 550-7120-881.49-90 WT109.

    SECTION 3.  This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage.
