Section 103-059 Ord. 17155; Approving a Revision to the C-P/O-P Development Plan for Village Square

AN ORDINANCE

approving a revision to the C-P/O-P Development Plan for Village Square; and fixing the time when this ordinance shall become effective.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLUMBIA, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:

    SECTION 1.  The City Council hereby approves a revision, dated December 6, 2001, to the C-P/O-P Development Plan for Village Square located on the north side of Nifong Boulevard, west of Forum Boulevard.  The revision would allow for the elimination of raised crosswalks and speed humps along Village Square Drive, which had been required as part of the original plan and for revisions to the street entrances to the site from Nifong Boulevard.

    SECTION 2.  Approval of the C-P/O-P Development Plan shall be deemed to satisfy the requirements for a Preliminary Plat of a subdivision.

    SECTION 3.  Approval of this revision to the C-P/O-P Development Plan is subject to the following conditions:

    1.    Developer shall construct three raised pedestrian crosswalks constructed of stamped concrete in accordance with “Exhibit A” at the locations on Club Village Drive indicated on “Exhibit B.”

    2.    The center median in Nifong Boulevard shall be landscaped as indicated on “Exhibit C.”

    3.    The island at the intersection of Club Village Drive and Nifong Boulevard shall be constructed as shown on “Exhibit D” except that it shall contain landscaping.
    
    4.    The island at the Walgreens’ entrance/exit into Nifong Boulevard shall be constructed as shown on “Exhibit E” except that it shall contain landscaping.

    SECTION 4.  This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage.
