Section 103-085 Ord. 17172; Rezoning Property Located on the West Side of Rock Quarry Road, East of the Easternmost Part of Seven Oaks Subdivision from A-1 to PUD-3

AN ORDINANCE

rezoning property located on the west side of Rock Quarry Road, east of the easternmost part of Seven Oaks Subdivision from District A-1 to District PUD-3; repealing all conflicting ordinances or parts of ordinances; and fixing the time when this ordinance shall become effective.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLUMBIA, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:

    SECTION 1.  The Zoning District Map established and adopted by Section 294 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Columbia, Missouri, is amended so that the following property:
    
A tract of land being part of the Southwest Quarter of Section 19 and being a part of the Northwest Quarter of Section 30, all in Township 48 North, Range 12 West, Columbia, Boone County, Missouri and being that tract of land described by the Warranty Deed recorded in Book 1444 at Page 213 of said county records, and being that tract of land depicted by the survey recorded in Book 812 at Page 949 of said county records, and being more particularly described as follows:

Beginning at a found old iron pin being the West common corner of said Sections 19 and 30; thence with the Rangeline N 0E00'56"W, 208.00 feet; thence N 88E45'16"E, 2526.61 feet to a point along the easterly edge of Rock Quarry Road; thence S 1E27'39"W, 208.00 feet to the Section Line, said point beginning in the center of said Rock Quarry Road; thence with said center of road S 2E06'12"W, 153.00 feet; thence S 88E44'42"W, 2515.60 feet to the Section Line (Rangeline); thence with said Section Line (Rangeline) N 0E00'56"W, 153.00 feet to the Point of Beginning and containing 20.88 acres.

will be rezoned and become a part of District PUD (Planned Unit Development District) and taken away from District A-1 (Agricultural District).  The property may be used for townhouse type residences.  The zoning district map shall designate the property PUD-3.  The statement of intent submitted by applicant’s agent, marked “Exhibit A” is attached to and made a part of this ordinance.  This rezoning is subject to the condition that the PUD site plan show adequate pedestrian and automobile connections to adjoining properties.

    SECTION 2.  All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.

    SECTION 3.  This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage.
