AN ORDINANCE

authorizing the City Manager to submit a membership application and execute a Transmission Facilities Owners Agreement with MidWest Independent Transmission System Operator, Inc.; appropriating funds; and fixing the time when this ordinance shall become effective.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLUMBIA, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to submit an application for membership to MidWest Independent Transmission System Operator, Inc. The City Manager is further authorized to execute all documents related to the application.

SECTION 2. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute a Transmission Facilities Owners Agreement with MidWest Independent Transmission System Operator, Inc. The form and content of the agreement shall be substantially as set forth in "Exhibit A" attached hereto and made a part hereof as fully as if set forth herein verbatim.

SECTION 3. The sum of $165,000 is hereby appropriated from the Retained Earnings Account No. 551-0000-351.01-00 to the Contractual Services Electric Distribution Account No. 551-7220-621.49-90.

SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage.
