A RESOLUTION
setting a public hearing on special assessments against property along unimproved streets that
have received maintenance work.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLUMBIA, MISSOURI, AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The City Council hereby determines that a public hearing on
special assessments
against property abutting and specially benefited by maintenance work on certain unimproved
streets in the City of Columbia, Missouri, as authorized by Ordinance No. 16534, shall be held in
the Council Chamber of the Daniel Boone Building, 701 E. Broadway, Columbia, Missouri, at
7:00 p.m. on March 4, 2002, at which time all interested persons shall be given the opportunity to
be heard. The streets on which the properties proposed to be tax billed are located as follows:
ANN STREET, Windsor Street to Walnut Street
ASHLEY STREET, Bowling to west end
BELMONT STREET, Business 70 to south end
BIRCH ROAD, Burnam Road to Bingham Road
BOWLING STREET, Ashley Street to south end
FAY STREET, Railroad crossing to Hinkson Avenue
EAST HENLEY DRIVE (Mexico Gravel Road to West Henley
Drive)
WEST HENLEY DRIVE (Mexico Gravel Road to East Henley
Drive)
LIGHTVIEW DRIVE, north end to south end
PANNELL STREET, Wilkes Boulevard to Railroad Street
STARLIGHT DRIVE, north end to cul-de-sac end
SECTION 2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to cause an
appropriate
advertisement of the time and place of the public hearing to be published in a daily newspaper of
general circulation in the City of Columbia for seven (7) consecutive insertions.
