Ordinance No.            17224              Council Bill No.           B 86-02A            

approving the Final Plat of The Sycamores, Plat 2, a Replat of Lot 2 of The Sycamores; accepting the dedication of rightsofway and easements; granting a variance from the Subdivision Regulations regarding sidewalk construction; and fixing the time when this ordinance shall become effective.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLUMBIA, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:

    SECTION 1.  The City Council hereby approves the Final Plat of The Sycamores, Plat 2, a Replat of Lot 2 of The Sycamores, dated January 28, 2002, located on the south side of I-70 Drive Southwest, west of Silvey Street, containing approximately 11.91 acres in the City of Columbia, Boone County, Missouri, and hereby authorizes and directs the Mayor and City Clerk to sign the plat evidencing such approval.

    SECTION 2.  The City Council hereby accepts the dedication of all rightsofway and easements as dedicated upon the plat.

    SECTION 3.  Subdivider is granted a variance from the requirements of Section 25-48 of the Subdivision Regulations so that sidewalk construction shall not be required along the I-70 Drive Southwest street frontage.  This variance is subject to the condition that Subdivider grant a pedestrian easement in the same location as the ten foot utility easement running along the north side of the property.

    SECTION 4.  This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage.
