Section 103-175 Ord. 17233; Accepting a Grant from the Missouri Humanities Council for Support of the Community Study Circles Program

AN ORDINANCE

accepting a grant from the Missouri Humanities Council for support of the Community Study Circles Program; appropriating funds; and fixing the time when this ordinance shall become effective.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLUMBIA, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:

    SECTION 1.  The City Manager is hereby authorized to accept a grant in the amount of $2,500 from the Missouri Humanities Council as outlined in “Exhibit A,” which is attached to and made part of this ordinance, for support of the implementation of the Community Study Circles Program, “Let’s Talk, Columbia!”

    SECTION 2.  The sum of $ 2,500 is hereby appropriated from the Miscellaneous Revenue Account No. 110-4430-480.10-00 to the following accounts:

    110-4430-542.01-05    Temporary Positions            $1,500.00
        110-4430-542.02-10        Social Security                                   115.00
        110-4430-542.12-20        Printing                                         375.00
        110-4430-542.12-30        Postage                                     200.00
        110-4430-542.13-95        Miscellaneous Supplies                        310.00
                                TOTAL                                 $2,500.00

    SECTION 3.  This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage.
