Section 103-333; Ord. 17342; Accepting Conveyance for Water Main Purposes; Authorizing Payment of Differential Costs RE: Construction of 8-inch Water Main Serving Timberlane Subdivsion, Plats 2 and 3

AN ORDINANCE

accepting conveyance for water main purposes; directing the City Clerk to have the conveyance recorded; authorizing  payment for the extra cost for constructing an 8inch water main rather than a 6inch water main serving Timberlane Subdivision, Plats 2 and 3; approving the engineer's report; and fixing the time when this ordinance shall become effective.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLUMBIA, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:

    SECTION 1.  The City of Columbia accepts the following conveyance:

Deed of Dedication from Holliday Construction Company, Inc. and Steven D. and Jacqueline K. March, dated March  13, 2002, a copy of which, marked "Exhibit A" is attached hereto and made a part hereof as fully as if set forth herein verbatim.

    SECTION 2.  The City Clerk is authorized and directed to have the conveyance recorded in the office of the Boone County Recorder of Deeds.

    SECTION 3.  The Director of Finance is authorized to pay Holliday Construction Company, Inc. and Steven D. and Jacqueline K. March $ 1,763.20 for installing an 8inch water main serving Timberlane Subdivision, Plats 2 and 3.  This amount is the differential cost of installing an 8inch water main above the cost of installing a 6inch water main. Payment shall be made from the Capital/Transmission and Distribution Mains Account No. 55072208816860, WF0388179/Job 5, Project No. WT0010.

    SECTION 4.  The report of the Director of Water and Light on the water mains serving Timberlane Subdivision, Plats 2 and 3 is approved and accepted.

    SECTION 5.  This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage.
