Section 103-357; Ord. 17352; Rezoning Property Located on the West Side of Peach Court, SW of Peachtree Drive from C-1 to C-P; Approving the C-P Development Plan of Holiday Inn and Suites

AN ORDINANCE

rezoning property located on the west side of Peach Court, southwest of Peachtree Drive from District C-1 to District C-P; repealing all conflicting ordinances or parts of ordinances; approving the C-P Development Plan of Holiday Inn and Suites; and fixing the time when this ordinance shall become effective.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLUMBIA, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:

    SECTION 1.  The Zoning District Map established and adopted by Section 294 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Columbia, Missouri, is amended so that the following property:

A tract of land located in the Northwest Quarter of Section 36, Township 48 North, Range 13 West in Columbia, Boone County, Missouri and said tract being further described as follows:

All of Lot 14 and Lot 15 of Rockbridge Subdivision, Block 9 as recorded in Plat Book 23 at Page 48 of the Boone County records and containing 3.27 acres.  This tract is subject to easements and restrictions of record.

will be rezoned and become a part of District C-P (Planned Business District) and taken away from C-1 (Intermediate Business District).  Hereafter the property may be used for all of the permitted uses in District C-1 and a hotel.

    SECTION 2.  All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.

    SECTION 3.  The City Council hereby approves the Holiday Inn and Suites C-P Development Plan submitted on June 27, 2002.  The Director of Planning and Development shall use the design parameters set forth in “Exhibit A” which is attached to and made a part of this ordinance as guidance when considering any future revisions to the C-P Development Plan.

    SECTION 4.  The C-P Development Plan for the property described in Section 1 shall be subject to the following condition:

    1.    The pole sign shown on the plan shall be eliminated.

    SECTION 5.  This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage.
