AN ORDINANCE
approving the Planned Unit Development Site Plan of The Intersection; granting a variance from
the Subdivision Regulations regarding right-of-way width; approving an amendment to the
Statement of Intent; approving a reduced setback requirement; and fixing the time when this
ordinance shall become effective.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLUMBIA, MISSOURI, AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The City Council hereby approves the Planned Unit Development
Site Plan of
The Intersection located on the north side of East Sexton Road between Grand Avenue and North
Garth Avenue.
SECTION 2. Approval of the PUD Site Plan shall be deemed to satisfy the
requirements for a
Preliminary Plat of a Subdivision.
SECTION 3. The City Council grants a variance from the requirements of
Section 25-43 of
the Subdivision Regulations so that the dedication of additional right-of-way for East Sexton
Road and Grand Avenue shall not be required.
SECTION 4. The City Council hereby approves an amendment to the Statement
of Intent by
allowing the walking trail to be constructed with a 6-foot width rather than an 8-foot width.
SECTION 5. The City Council approves a reduction in the perimeter setback
requirement so
that a 6-foot setback shall be required on the east and south property lines adjacent to the Grand
Avenue and East Sexton Road street frontages.
SECTION 6. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
its passage.
