Section 103-416; Res. 136-02; Setting a Public Hearing RE: Setting 2002 Property Tax Rates
Council Bill No. R 136-02
A RESOLUTION
determining the time and place of a public hearing on setting property tax rates for 2002; and
authorizing and directing the City Clerk to publish appropriate advertisement of the hearing.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLUMBIA, MISSOURI, AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The City Council hereby determines that the public hearing
on setting property
tax rates for 2002 shall be held in the Council Chamber of the Daniel Boone Building, 701 E.
Broadway, Columbia, Missouri at 7:00 p.m. on August 19, 2002, at which time all interested
persons shall be given the opportunity to be heard.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to cause an
appropriate
advertisement of the time and place of the public hearing on setting property tax rates for 2002 to
be published in a newspaper of general circulation in the City, at least seven days before the
hearing is to be held.
