A RESOLUTION

determining the time and place of a public hearing on the FY 2003 Annual Budget for the City of Columbia, Missouri; and authorizing and directing the City Clerk to publish appropriate advertisement of the hearing.

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLUMBIA, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1. Pursuant to Section 37 of the Home Rule Charter for the City of Columbia, Missouri, the City Council hereby determines that the public hearing on the Annual Budget for FY 2003 for the City of Columbia shall be held in the Council Chamber of the Daniel Boone Building, 701 E. Broadway, Columbia, Missouri at 7:00 p.m. on August 19, 2002, at which time all interested persons shall be given the opportunity to be heard on the budget as submitted by the City Manager.

SECTION 2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to cause an appropriate advertisement of the time and place of the public hearing on the FY 2003 Annual Budget for the City of Columbia to be published in the Columbia Daily Tribune and the Columbia Missourian, newspapers of general circulation in the City, at least seven days before the hearing is to be held.
