Ordinance No.            17401              Council Bill No.           B 266-02            

authorizing a grant agreement with the Missouri Department of Natural Resources for the purchase of a conveyor and material screener; appropriating funds; and fixing the time when this ordinance shall become effective.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLUMBIA, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:

    SECTION 1.  The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute a grant agreement with the Missouri Department of Natural Resources for the purchase of a conveyor and material screener. The form and content of the agreement shall be substantially as set forth in "Exhibit A" attached hereto and made a part hereof as fully as if set forth herein verbatim.

    SECTION 2.  The sum of $ 75,000 is hereby appropriated from the State Revenue Account No. 557-0000-497.02-00 to the Material Recovery Facility Conveyor and Material Screener Project Account No. 557-6588-881.49-90 C48034.

     SECTION 3.  The sum of $ 45,000 is hereby appropriated from the Solid Waste Utility Fund Account No. 557-0000-351.01-00 to the Material Recovery Facility Conveyor and Material Screener Project Account No. 557-6588-881.49-90 C48034.

    SECTION 4.  This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage.
