A RESOLUTION
authorizing the City Manager to apply to the Missouri Department of Natural Resources for a
Recreation Trails Grant for the MKT Trail Improvement Project.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLUMBIA, MISSOURI, AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to apply to the Missouri
Department of
Natural Resources for a Recreation Trails Grant for the MKT Trail Improvement Project. This
project will develop a new trail route between Elm Street and a point just south and west of the
Providence Road/Stewart Road intersection. The project will allow trail users to travel below
Providence Road and Stewart Road.
