AN ORDINANCE

vacating utility easements located within Rock Valley Subdivision, Plats 2 and 3; directing the City Clerk to have a copy of this ordinance recorded; and fixing the time when this ordinance shall become effective.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLUMBIA, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1. The City Council finds and determines that certain utility easements located within Rock Valley Subdivision, Plats 2 and 3, more particularly described as follows:

Tract 1

The 16 foot utility easement on the west 16 feet of Lots 8 and 9 Rock Valley Plat 2.

Tract 2

The 10 foot utility easement on the north 5 feet of Lot 8 and the south 5 feet of Lot 9, Rock Valley Plat 2.

Tract 3

All of the 16 foot utility easement recorded in Book 1143, Page 746.

are in excess and surplus to the needs of the City and are hereby vacated.

SECTION 2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to cause a copy of this ordinance to be recorded in the office of the Recorder of Deeds of Boone County, Missouri.
