AN ORDINANCE

rezoning property located on the north side of Blue Ridge Road, along both sides of North Providence Road, extended, from District A-1 to District R-1; repealing all conflicting ordinances or parts of ordinances; and fixing the time when this ordinance shall become effective.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLUMBIA, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:

    SECTION 1.  The Zoning District Map established and adopted by Section 294 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Columbia, Missouri, is amended so that the following property:

A TRACT OF LAND LOCATED IN THE SOUTHEAST QUARTER OF SECTION 36, TOWNSHIP 49N, RANGE 13W OF BOONE COUNTY, MISSOURI, BEING PART OF THE TRACT DESCRIBED BY WARRANTY DEED RECORDED IN BOOK 2322 AT PAGE 65 OF SAID COUNTY RECORDS AND BEING MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS.

STARTING AT THE EAST QUARTER CORNER OF SAID SECTION 36, THENCE WITH THE QUARTER SECTION LINE N85°45’35”W, 1984.28 FEET TO THE POINT OF BEGINNING; THENCE S1°06’05”W, 1065.52 FEET; THENCE N85°46’50”W, 980.80 FEET TO THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF HUNTERS GATE PLAT 2 AS RECORDED IN PLAT BOOK 30 PAGE 51; THENCE WITH THE EAST SIDE OF SAID PLAT N0°31’45”W, 1068.00 FEET TO A POINT ON THE QUARTER SECTION LINE; THENCE WITH SAID LINE S85°45’35”E, 1011.25 FEET TO THE POINT OF BEGINNING AND CONTAINING 24.33 ACRES,

will be rezoned and become a part of District R-1 (One-Family Dwelling District) and taken away from District A-1 (Agricultural District).

    SECTION 2.  All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.

    SECTION 3.  This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage.
