A RESOLUTION

establishing revised use of downtown sidewalks by certain businesses.

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLUMBIA, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:

    SECTION 1.  Resolution 122-94 adopted on June 6, 1994, which authorized the use of downtown sidewalks by certain businesses, is hereby repealed and replaced with this resolution.

    SECTION 2.  The Central Columbia Association is authorized to use the public sidewalks as follows:

1.     Downtown Twilight Festival one evening per week in June and September.

2.     Dog Day’s Sidewalk Sale one week in July or August as determined by the Central Columbia Association.
    SECTION 3.  The authorizations to use the public sidewalks set forth in Section 2 of this resolution are subject to the condition that each business entity authorized to use a sidewalk shall at all times maintain a straight, unobstructed pathway at least sixty (60) inches wide along the entire length of the sidewalk.

    SECTION 4.  The authorizations to use the public sidewalks set forth in Section 1 of this resolution may be revoked at any time by the City Council by resolution.
