A RESOLUTION

adopting a list of recommended priorities for Missouri Department of Transportation roadway improvement projects in the Columbia area.

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLUMBIA, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:

    SECTION 1.  The City Council of the City of Columbia, Missouri adopts the following list of recommended priorities for Missouri Department of Transportation roadway improvement projects in the Columbia area:

    1.    Route 763 (Range Line): Reconstruct and widen from Big Bear Boulevard to U.S. Highway 63.

    2.    I-70: Widening and reconstruction.
    
    3.    Route 740 (Stadium Boulevard): Build new roadway from U.S. Highway 63 to I-70.

    4.    Route TT (Scott Boulevard): Reconstruct and widen from Rollins Road to Brookview Terrace.

    5.    Route 740 (Stadium Boulevard): Add travel/turn lanes from I-70 to Broadway.

    6.    U.S. Highway 63: Build new interchange at Gans Road and U.S. Highway 63.

    7.    I-70: Build new “full” interchange west of Stadium Boulevard.

    8.    Route PP (Clark Lane/Ballenger Lane): Improve from Olympic Boulevard to Mexico Gravel Road.

    9.    Route WW: Improve from Keene Street to Rolling Hills Road.

    10.    Route 163 (Providence Road): Widen to four lanes from Southampton Drive to Route K.

    11.    U.S. Highway 63: Improve interchange of Route AC and U.S. Highway 63 (Public Safety Funds).

    SECTION 2.  The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to communicate this list of recommended priority roadway improvement projects to the Missouri Department of Transportation.

    ADOPTED this 16th day of August, 2004.
