A RESOLUTION

declaring the necessity for the construction of an 8-inch water main serving Timber Ridge, Plat 2; stating the nature of the improvement; estimating the extra cost for constructing an 8-inch rather than a 6-inch water main; providing that the improvement shall be made by Holliday Construction Company, Inc. and Steven D. and Jacqueline K.     NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLUMBIA, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1.  The Council deems the construction of about 855 feet of 8-inch water main pipes and accessory valves and fittings serving Timber Ridge, Plat 2 necessary to assure adequate future water supply for the health, safety and welfare of the citizens of the City.

SECTION 4.  This improvement shall be made by Holliday Construction Company, Inc. and Steven D. and Jacqueline K. March.

SECTION 5.  This resolution shall be published in a daily newspaper of general circulation in the City of Columbia for seven (7) consecutive insertions, and a public hearing in respect to this improvement will be held in the Council Chamber of the Daniel Boone Building, 701 E.
