A RESOLUTION

authorizing acceptance of donated space from the Dillon Companies, Inc. to be used as a Police Department Substation; accepting donations of materials for completion and renovation of the space.

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLUMBIA, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:

        SECTION 1.  The City accepts the donation of space from the Dillon Companies, Inc. located at 2900 Paris Road to be used as a Police Department Substation.  The City Manager is authorized to execute a license agreement with Dillon Companies, Inc. for use of the space.  The agreement shall be substantially as set forth in Exhibit A which is attached to this resolution.

        SECTION 2.  The City accepts donations from the Columbia Police Foundation by local businesses for the completion and renovation of the donated space located at 2900 Paris Road as follows:

    Marathon Office Products - Office Furniture ($1,000)
    PC Avenue - 2 Computers ($1,430)
    Dave Griggs’ Flooring America - Carpeting ($1,061)
    UMB Bank - Phone Lines ($500)
