Section 105-574; Ord. 18290; Approving the C-P Development Plan of Lone Star Steakhouse and Saloon

AN ORDINANCE

approving the C-P Development Plan of Lone Star Steakhouse & Saloon; and fixing the time when this ordinance shall become effective.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLUMBIA, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:

    SECTION 1.  The City Council hereby approves the C-P Development Plan of Lone Star Steakhouse & Saloon, dated August 23, 2004, located along the west side of Bass Pro Drive, south of Vandiver Drive.  The Director of Planning and Development shall use the design parameters set forth in ”Exhibit A,” which is attached to and made part of this ordinance as guidance when considering any future revisions to the C-P Development Plan.  

    SECTION 2.  Approval of the C-P Development Plan shall be deemed to satisfy the requirements for a Preliminary Plat of a Subdivision.

    SECTION 3.  Approval of this C-P Development Plan is subject to the following conditions:

    1.    Five feet sidewalks shall be constructed along the northeast and southeast border of the site and on the opposite side of the private street on the southwest side of the site.

    2.    The freestanding light poles on the subject tract shall be limited to 20 feet in height and the lights shall have full cut-off light fixtures.

    3.    The pylon sign shown on the plan shall be replaced with a monument sign not to exceed six feet in height (two foot base and four foot high sign face).  The sign face shall not exceed 48 square feet.  A wall sign shall be allowed on the north side of the building comparable to the wall signs on the other sides of the building.

    SECTION 4.  This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage.
