AN ORDINANCE

accepting conveyance of a water main; directing the City Clerk to have the conveyance recorded; authorizing payment for the extra cost of constructing an 8-inch water main serving Timber Ridge, Plat 2, rather than a 6-inch main; approving the engineer's report; and fixing the time when this ordinance shall become effective.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLUMBIA, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:

    SECTION 1.  The City of Columbia accepts the following conveyance:

Deed of Dedication from Holliday Construction Company, Inc. and Steven D. and Jacqueline K. March dated September 17, 2004, more particularly described in "Attachment A" attached hereto and made a part hereof as fully as if set forth herein verbatim.

    SECTION 2.  The City Clerk is authorized and directed to have the conveyance recorded in the office of the Boone County Recorder of Deeds.

    SECTION 3.  The Director of Finance is authorized to pay Holliday Construction Company, Inc. and Steven D. and Jacqueline K. March  $ 3,625.05 for installing an 8-inch water main serving Timber Ridge, Plat 2.  This amount is the differential cost of installing an 8-inch water main above the cost of installing a 6-inch water main.  Payment shall be made from the Capital/Transmission and Distribution Mains Account No. 550-7220-881.68-60 WF0629497/Job 5/Project WT0010.

    SECTION 4.  The report of the Director of Water and Light on the water mains serving Timber Ridge, Plat 2 is approved and accepted.

    SECTION 5.  This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage.
