AN ORDINANCE

vacating unbuilt street right-of-way for Old 63, north of Grindstone Parkway (State Route AC); directing the City Clerk to have a copy of this ordinance recorded; and fixing the time when this ordinance shall become effective.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLUMBIA, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:

    SECTION 1.  The City Council finds and determines that certain unbuilt street right-of-way for Old 63, north of Grindstone Parkway (State Route AC), more particularly described as follows:

A strip of land of varying width being a part of the land described in the quitclaim deed from the MISSOURI HIGHWAYS and TRANSPORTATION COMMISSION to the CITY of  COLUMBIA as recorded in Book 2449 at page 127 of the Boone County Records; situate in the southwest quarter of the northwest quarter of Section 29, Township 48 North, Range 12 West in the City of Columbia, Boone County, Missouri; said strip being described as follows:

The land known as Old Route 63 from Station 3+455.10 (113+35.59) to Station 3+709.40 lying North of the Route AC left or north right-of-way line as shown on the attached Exhibit A and excepting that portion of the above described land previously vacated by Ordinance No. 017934.

is in excess and surplus to the needs of the City and is hereby vacated.

    SECTION 2.  The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to cause a copy of this ordinance to be recorded in the office of the Recorder of Deeds of Boone County, Missouri.

    SECTION 3.  This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage.
