AN ORDINANCE

rezoning property located on the west side of U.S. Highway 63 and approximately 700 feet south of Interstate 70 from District R-1 to District C-P; repealing all conflicting ordinances or parts of ordinances; and fixing the time when this ordinance shall become effective.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLUMBIA, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:

    SECTION 1.  The Zoning District Map established and adopted by Section 29-4 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Columbia, Missouri, is amended so that the following property:

All of Tract 4 and the North One-Half (N ½) of Tract 3 of Boone County Survey 7601, except a part conveyed to the State of Missouri by deed recorded in Book 492, Page 524, and except the West part conveyed to Columbia, Missouri Investment Company by deeds recorded in Book 601, at Pages 229 and 230, Office of the Recorder of Deeds, Boone County, Missouri.

will be rezoned and become a part of District C-P (Planned Business District) and taken away from District R-1 (One-Family Dwelling District).  Hereafter the property may be used for the following uses: motor vehicle dealership; hotel; motel; restaurant; night club; retail sales establishment; and, offices.

    SECTION 2.  All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.

    SECTION 3.  This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage.
