AN ORDINANCE

rezoning property located west of Providence Road and south of Peach Tree Drive from District C-1 to District C-3; repealing all conflicting ordinances or parts of ordinances; and fixing the time when this ordinance shall become effective.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLUMBIA, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:

    SECTION 1.  The Zoning District Map established and adopted by Section 29-4 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Columbia, Missouri, is amended so that the following property:

A tract of land located in the Northwest Quarter of Section 36, Township 48 North, Range 13 West in Columbia, Boone County, Missouri, being a part of Lot 20b of the Administrative Subdivision Replat of Rockbridge Subdivision as recorded in Book 2431 at Page 58 of the Boone County records and said tract being further described as follows:
Beginning at the southwest corner of said Lot 20b; thence with the boundary of said lot N3°15’00”W, 33.87 feet; thence N89°31’00”W, 4.54 feet; thence N1°17’00”E, 55.00 feet; thence N88°43’00”W, 11.00 feet; thence N1°17’00”E, 65.00 feet; thence S88°43’00”E, 11.00 feet; thence N1°17’00”E, 95.16 feet; thence S89°31’00”E, 152.54 feet; thence leaving said boundary S00°29’00”W, 100.00 feet; thence S30°59’15”E, 117.77 feet to the northerly right-of-way of Peach Way; thence with said right-of-way along a curve to the left having a radius of 47.00 feet for an arc distance of 49.69 feet, the long chord bears S28°43’20”W, 47.41 feet; thence leaving said right-of-way S88°26’00”W, 187.97 feet to the beginning and containing 1.00 acres.  Tract is subject to easements and restrictions of record.

will be rezoned and become a part of District C-3 (General Business District) and taken away from District C-1 (Intermediate Business District).

    SECTION 2.  All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.

    SECTION 3.  This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage.
