AN ORDINANCE

vacating landscape easements in Norbury Hill Subdivision; directing the City Clerk to have a copy of this ordinance recorded; and fixing the time when this ordinance shall become effective.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLUMBIA, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:

    SECTION 1.    The City Council finds and determines that certain landscape easements, more particularly described as follows:

The North Ten (10’) feet of Lots One, Two, Three, Four, Five, Six, Seven, Eight, and Nine of Norbury Hill Subdivision in the City of Columbia, Boone County, Missouri, as shown by the plat recorded in Plat Book 36, Page 80, Records of Boone County, Missouri EXCEPT a strip of land in the northeast part of Lot Three (3) described as follows: Beginning at the northeast corner of Lot 3 of said plat; thence in a southerly direction along the east line of the said Lot 3, five (5’) feet; thence S 88 degrees 49’ W parallel to the north line of the said Lot 3, one hundred five (105’) feet; thence in a northerly direction parallel to the east line of the said Lot 3, five (5’) feet to the north line of the said Lot 3; thence N 88 degrees 49’ E along the north line of said Lot 3, one hundred five (105’) feet to the northeast corner of the said Lot 3, the point of beginning.

The east Twenty-five (25’) feet of  Lots Nine and Ten of Norbury Hill Subdivision in the City of Columbia, Boone County, Missouri, as shown by the plat recorded in Plat Book 36, Page 80, Records of Boone County, Missouri.

The East Twenty-five (25’) of Lot 11A of the Replat of Lots 11, 12, 13, 14 and McClure Court of Norbury Hill Subdivision in the City of Columbia, Boone County, Missouri, as shown by the plat recorded in Plat Book 38, Page 94, Records of Boone County Missouri.

are in excess and surplus to the needs of the City and are hereby vacated.

    SECTION 2.    The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to cause a copy of this ordinance to be recorded in the office of the Recorder of Deeds of Boone County, Missouri.

    SECTION 3.    This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage.
