rezoning property located on the north side of Cooper Drive North, east of Hyde Park
from District R-2 PUD to District C-P; repealing all conflicting ordinances or parts of
ordinances; and fixing the time when this ordinance shall become effective.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLUMBIA, MISSOURI, AS
SECTION 1. The Zoning District Map established and adopted
by Section 29-4 of the Code
of Ordinances of the City of Columbia, Missouri, is amended so that the following property:
ALL THAT PART OF UNITS C1-C16 AND COMMON UNIT C OF LOT C, HYDE PARK
PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT BOCK 2 AS SHOWN BY THE PLAT RECORDED IN
BOOK 15, PAGE 62, BOONE COUNTY RECORDS, LOCATED IN SECTION 25,
TOWNSHIP 48 NORTH, RANGE 13 WEST, IN THE CITY OF COLUMBIA, BOONE
COUNTY, MISSOURI, BEING MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS:
BEGINNING AT A#3 REBAR STAMPED PLS#931-2089 AT THE CORNER COMMON TO
COMMON LOT 1 AND UNIT C1 ON THE NORTH RIGHT-OF-WAY OF COOPER DRIVE
NORTH; THENCE N03º2134W ALONG THE LINE COMMON TO COMMON LOT 1 AND
UNITS C1-C8, 258.51 FEET TO THE SOUTH SAID RIGHT-OF-WAY OF STATE ROUTE

RIGHT-OF-WAY OF COOPER DRIVE NORTH; THENCE ALONG SAID NORTH RIGHT-OF-WAY THE FOLLOWING COURSES AND DISTANCES:
THENCE ALONG A CURVE
TO THE LEFT HAVING A RADIUS OF 206.99 FEET, A LENGTH OF 100.45 FEET AND A
CHORD BEARING AND DISTANCE OF N73º4515W, 99.46 FEET TO A POINT; THENCE
N87º5400W, 118.06 FEET TO THE POINT OF BEGINNING, CONTAINING 1.59 ACRES,
MORE OR LESS, BEING SUBJECT TO ALL UTILITY EASEMENTS AND ROAD RIGHTS-OF-WAY.
will be rezoned and become a part of District C-P (Planned Business District) and taken
from District R-2 PUD (Planned Unit Development District). Hereafter the property may be
used for all permitted uses in District C-3 except for the following: commercial parking for
automobiles and light trucks; commercial swimming pools; farm machinery sales and service;
kennels for the boarding of animals; miniature golf courses or driving ranges; mortuaries; motor
vehicle or trailer sales and service; self-service storage facilities; tree trimming and removal
services; armories; billiard halls and game arcades; bus stations; commercial laundries;
lumberyards; newspaper publishing plants; printing shops; sign painting shops; and, theatres.
The statement of intent, marked Exhibit A, is attached to and made a part of this
SECTION 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
with the provisions of this
ordinance are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage.
