AN ORDINANCE

vacating a portion of a sewer easement located on Lot 1 Red Oak Subdivision; directing the City Clerk to have a copy of this ordinance recorded; and fixing the time when this ordinance shall become effective.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLUMBIA, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:

    SECTION 1.    The City Council finds and determines that a portion of a sewer easement located on Lot 1 Red Oak Subdivision, more particularly described as follows:

A strip of land, sixteen (16) feet wide, located in the east half of Section 25 T48N R13W in Columbia, Boone County, Missouri, being part of the strip of land described by a sewer easement recorded in book 1370 page 317, the centerline described as follows:

Starting at the northeast corner of Lot 17C Oak Forest Subdivision Block V-C, also being a corner of Lot 1 Red Oak Subdivision, thence N 85°06’35”W, along the line of Lot 1  Red Oak Subdivision, 3.60 feet to the centerline of the sewer easement recorded in book 1370 page 317; thence N 15°26’30”E, along said centerline, 21.63 feet to the point of beginning.

From the point of beginning, continuing along the centerline of the sewer easement recorded in book 1370 page 317, N 15°26’30”E 282.91 feet; thence N 14°45’45”E 234.39 feet to the end of the described centerline.

is in excess and surplus to the needs of the City and is hereby vacated.

    SECTION 2.    The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to cause a copy of this ordinance to be recorded in the office of the Recorder of Deeds of Boone County, Missouri.

    SECTION 3.    This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage.
