BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLUMBIA, MISSOURI,
SECTION 1. Cage Free LLC (hereinafter
Company) is granted permission to film portions
of a motion picture currently entitled American Shopper at or within several city owned
SECTION 2. The authorization granted
in Section 1 is limited to the Daniel Boone Building,
the Gentry Building, the Howard Municipal Building, the Armory Sports Center and The ARC,
and is subject to the following conditions:
a. The Company may film in those areas
of the authorized buildings that are customarily
open to the public at times and in a manner that will not interfere with City operations.
b. The Company may only film in areas
customarily closed to the public with the permission
of the department head responsible for the area.
c. The Company shall not alter City property
or build any stage sets or settings without the
written permission of the City Manager.
d. The Companys filming activities
shall not significantly interfere with the Citys
operations or activities.
e. The Company shall abide by all relevant
City ordinances and rules.
f. The Companys activities while
on City premises shall not include any explicit sexual
conduct or the use of profanity.
g. The Company shall maintain the appropriate
workers compensation and liability
insurance and provide the City with proof of such insurance.
h. The Company shall indemnify and hold
the City harmless from any and all claims and
demands of any person, based upon property damage, injuries or death arising directly or
indirectly out of the Companys activities while at or on the City premises listed herein. The
form and content of the indemnification agreement shall be substantially as set forth in "Exhibit
A" attached hereto and made a part hereof as fully as if set forth herein verbatim.
SECTION 3. The City Manager is authorized
to revoke the authorization to film if any of the
conditions of Section 2 are violated.
