     AN ORDINANCE

authorizing an agreement with the Boone County Historical Society for funding for the Nikawa Pavilion and reconstruction of the Easley Country Store; appropriating funds; and fixing the time when this ordinance shall become effective.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLUMBIA, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:

    SECTION 1.    The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an agreement with the Boone County Historical Society for funding for the Nikawa Pavilion and reconstruction of the Easley Country Store.  The form and content of the agreement shall be substantially as set forth in "Exhibit A" attached hereto and made a part hereof as fully as if set forth herein verbatim.

    SECTION 2.    The sum of $71,500.00 is hereby appropriated from the Cash Restricted for Tourism Development Account No. 229-0000-101.11-90 to the Tourism Development Fund Account No. 229-4820-509.49-90.

    SECTION 3.    This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage.
