     AN ORDINANCE

authorizing an agreement with Columbia Public Schools to provide a crosswalk guard at Grant Elementary School; appropriating funds; and fixing the time when this ordinance shall become effective.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLUMBIA, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:

    SECTION 1.  The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an agreement with Columbia Public Schools to provide a crosswalk guard at Grant Elementary School.  The form and content of the agreement shall be substantially as set forth in "Exhibit A" attached hereto and made a part hereof as fully as if set forth herein verbatim.

    SECTION 2.    The sum of $3,500.00 is hereby appropriated from Miscellaneous Income Account No. 110-2121-480.10-00 to Temporary Positions Account No. 110-2121-511.01-05.

    SECTION 3.    This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage.
