     AN ORDINANCE

accepting and appropriating federal forfeiture funds for the purchase of portable radios for the Police Department; and fixing the time when this ordinance shall become effective.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLUMBIA, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:

    SECTION 1.    The City accepts federal forfeiture funds in the amount of $8,000.00 for the purchase of portable radios for the Police Department.

    SECTION 2.    The sum of $8,000.00 is hereby appropriated from Grant Revenue Account No. 110-2120-461.10-01 GFORFE to the Instruments & Apparatus Account No. 110-2127-511.14-70.

    SECTION 3.    This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage.
