Ordinance No. 19385                            Council Bill No. B 13-07

     AN ORDINANCE

accepting grants of easement for electric utility and street purposes relating to construction of a 161 Kv transmission line from the intersection of Rolling Hills Road and Sugar Grove Road to the Grindstone Substation located on Grindstone Parkway; authorizing the City Manager to execute the easements; directing the City Clerk to have the conveyances recorded; and fixing the time when this ordinance shall become effective.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLUMBIA, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:

    SECTION 1.    The City of Columbia accepts the following conveyances:

Grant of Easement for electric utility purposes from CenturyTel of Missouri, LLC, a copy of which, marked "Attachment A" is attached to this ordinance.

Grant of Easement for electric utility purposes from Subplex Corporation, a copy of which, marked "Attachment B" is attached to this ordinance.

Grant of Easement for street purposes from Subplex Corporation, a copy of which, marked "Attachment C" is attached to this ordinance.

    SECTION 2.    The City Manager is authorized to execute the easements described in Section 1.

    SECTION 3.    The City Clerk is authorized and directed to have the conveyances recorded in the office of the Boone County Recorder of Deeds.

    SECTION 4.    This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage.
