     AN ORDINANCE

vacating portions of unused street rights-of-way for Tammy Lane; directing the City Clerk to have a copy of this ordinance recorded; and fixing the time when this ordinance shall become effective.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLUMBIA, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:

    SECTION 1.    The City Council finds and determines that portions of unused street rights-of-way for Tammy Lane, more particularly described as follows:

A part of Tammy Lane as platted in the Revision of Blocks 1, 2, 3 & 5 of Highland Park Addition as recorded in Plat Book 6 at Page 46 of the Boone County Records; situate in the City of Columbia, Boone County, Missouri and further described as follows:

BEGINNNG at the southwest corner of Lot 3A of Highland Park Addition Block VI as recorded in Plat Book 26 at Page 4 of said Boone County Records; thence along the south line of said lot S.84°10’ 25”E., 99.46 feet to the southeast corner of Lot 3, Block 2 of Highland Park Addition as recorded in Plat Book 5 at Page 4 of said Boone County Records; thence along the east line extended of said Lot 3 (said east line extended being the same line as described in an ordinance to vacate a portion of Tammy Lane as recorded in Book 328 at Page 311 of said Boone County Records) S.5°49’ 35”W., 80.72 feet to the southwesterly right-of-way line of said Tammy Lane; thence along said right-of-way line N.32°02’ 50”W., 29.70 feet; thence continuing along said right-of-way line along a non-tangent curve to the left having a radius of 32.50 feet a distance of 22.18 feet (the chord of said curve having bearing and distance of N.64°37’ 20”W., 21.75 feet); thence continuing along said right-of-way line N.84°10’ 25”W., 60.73 feet; thence leaving said right-of-way line N.5°49’ 35”E., 50.00 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING.

and

A tract of land described in a Grant of Easement for Street Purposes in Book 326 at Page 465 of the Boone County Records; situate in the City of Columbia, Boone County, Missouri and further described as follows:

A cul-de-sac, having a forty-foot (40’ ) radius, the center of which is forty (40) feet south of the southeast corner of Lot 3, Block 2 of Highland Park Addition, as recorded in Boone County Records, Plat Book 5, page 4.

are in excess and surplus to the needs of the City and are hereby vacated.

    SECTION 2.    The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to cause a copy of this ordinance to be recorded in the office of the Recorder of Deeds of Boone County, Missouri.

    SECTION 3.    This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage.
