AN ORDINANCE
accepting a section of Rock Quarry Road and Capen Park Drive for ownership and maintenance
from the Missouri Department of Transportation; authorizing a road relinquishment agreement
with the Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission; and fixing the time when this
ordinance shall become effective.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLUMBIA, MISSOURI, AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The following streets are
accepted for ownership and maintenance from the
Missouri Department of Transportation:
Rock Quarry Road, from approximately 280 feet south of the centerline of Stadium Boulevard
to
Capen Park Drive (approximately 690 feet).
Capen Park Drive, from Rock Quarry Road south 390 feet.
SECTION 2. The City Manager is hereby
authorized to execute a Road Relinquishment
Agreement with the Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission. The form and content
of the agreement shall be substantially as set forth in "Exhibit A" attached hereto and made
a part
hereof as fully as if set forth herein verbatim.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be
in full force and effect from and after its passage.
