Section 110-223; Defeated B119-09; Amending the Major Roadway Plan, a part of the 2025 Transportation Plan

     AN ORDINANCE

amending the Major Roadway Plan, a part of the 2025 Transportation Plan; and fixing the time when this ordinance shall become effective.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLUMBIA, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:

    SECTION 1.  The Major Roadway Plan, a part of the City’ s 2025 Transportation Plan, is amended as follows:

    I.    The following roadway addition is made in the Route K area:

A.     Neighborhood Collector K-1: A new neighborhood collector segment including existing Stedman Road, and a future extension to the southwest to connect to Route K.

    II.    The following roadway additions are made in the Scott Boulevard area:

A.      Neighborhood Collector SB-5: New neighborhood collector that would include the existing Southern Hills Drive and an extension eastward to link up with the proposed SB-7 neighborhood collector

B.     Local Residential Street SB-6: New local residential street between Sundance Drive and Arrowhead Lake Drive.

C.     Neighborhood Collector SB-7: New neighborhood collector. This street would include the eastern section of Arrowhead Lake Drive, from Sinclair Road north, and a northern extension from the northeast corner of Arrowhead Lake Estates subdivision to Old Mill Creek Road.

D.     Neighborhood Collector SB-8: New neighborhood collector street between proposed collector SB-7 and Highlands Parkway.

E.     Local Residential Street SB-9: New local residential street extending from the existing Schuster Road terminus north to the proposed SB-8 collector street.

F.     Local Residential Street SB-10: New local residential street extending from existing Gateway Boulevard north to connect to the terminus of Keegan Court.

G.     Local Residential Street SB-12: Proposed extension of Bentpath Drive south and east to connect to Old Plank Road.

    SECTION 2.    This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage.
