vacating a drainage easement located on Lot 64 within Corporate Lake Subdivision,
directing the City Clerk to have a copy of this ordinance recorded; accepting a conveyance for
drainage purposes; directing the City Clerk to have the conveyance recorded; and fixing the time
when this ordinance shall become effective.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLUMBIA, MISSOURI, AS
SECTION 1. The City Council finds
and determines that a certain drainage easement located
on Lot 64 within Corporate Lake Subdivision, Plat 12, more particularly described as follows:
A tract of land in the Southwest Quarter of Section 36, Township 48 North,
Range 13 West in Columbia, Boone County, Missouri. Said tract being a part of Lot
Corporate Lake, Plat #12 as shown by the plat recorded in Plat Book 30, Page 68 of the Boone
County records. Said tract is 10 feet on both sides of the following described centerline:
Starting at the northeast corner of said Lot 64; thence along the north line thereof
and the south
right-of-way of Southhampton Drive, N 88°21 00W, 365.75 feet to the point of beginning:
thence leaving said north line and right-of-way, S 06°11 24W, 181.25 feet to the end
is in excess and surplus to the needs of the City and is hereby vacated.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk is hereby
authorized and directed to cause a copy of this
ordinance to be recorded in the office of the Recorder of Deeds of Boone County, Missouri.
SECTION 3. The conveyance to the City
of Columbia, Missouri, a municipal corporation,
more particularly described as follows:
Grant of Easement for drainage purposes from G. Lewis-Missouri, LLC, dated April
more particularly described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part hereof as fully
set forth herein verbatim.
is hereby accepted.
SECTION 4. The City Clerk is hereby
authorized and directed to have the conveyance
recorded in the office of the Boone County Recorder of Deeds.
SECTION 5. This ordinance shall be
in full force and effect from and after its passage.
