     AN ORDINANCE

accepting a quit claim deed for two tracts of right-of-way from the Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission relating to the Vandiver Drive extension project; authorizing the City Manager to execute an acceptance of conveyance; directing the City Clerk to have the deed recorded; and fixing the time when this ordinance shall become effective.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLUMBIA, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:

    SECTION 1.    The City of Columbia accepts a quit claim deed for two tracts of right-of-way from the Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission relating to the Vandiver Drive extension project.  The form and content of the deed shall be substantially as set forth in "Exhibit A" attached hereto and made a part hereof as fully as if set forth herein verbatim.

    SECTION 2.    The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an acceptance of conveyance for the quit claim of two tracts of right-of-way from the Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission relating to the Vandiver Drive extension project.  The form and content of the acceptance of conveyance shall be substantially as set forth in "Exhibit B" attached hereto and made a part hereof as fully as if set forth herein verbatim.

    SECTION 3.    The City Clerk is authorized and directed to have the quit claim deed recorded in the office of the Boone County Recorder of Deeds.

    SECTION 4.    This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage.
