     AN ORDINANCE

amending Chapter 14 of the City Code to provide reserved parking for police vehicles along Paquin Street; and fixing the time when this ordinance shall become effective.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLUMBIA, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:

    SECTION 1.    Chapter 14 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Columbia, Missouri, is hereby amended as follows:

Sec. 14-335. Reserved parking for police vehicles.

    (a)     When signs are placed, erected or installed giving notice thereof, it shall be unlawful for any person to park a vehicle other than a Columbia Police Department vehicle at any time on the east side of Sixth Street, from the south curbline of Walnut Street to a point sixty-five (65) feet south thereof.

     (c)    When signs are placed, erected or installed giving notice thereof, it shall be unlawful for any person to park a vehicle other than a Columbia Police Department vehicle at any time on the south side of Paquin Street, from the west curbline of Matthews Street to a point eighty-five (85) feet west thereof.

    ( c d)     The police department shall pay the parking utility a fee of five hundred twenty dollars ($520.00) per year (or monthly proration thereof) per parking space reserved for parking police vehicles pursuant to subsection (a).

    SECTION 2.    This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage.
