     A RESOLUTION

authorizing agreements for FY 2010 Public Communications Program funding.

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLUMBIA, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:

    SECTION 1.    The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an agreement with First Chance for Children for Public Communications Program funding for the Columbia Parent Engagement Campaign.  The form and content of the agreement shall be substantially as set forth in "Exhibit A" attached hereto and made a part hereof as fully as if set forth herein verbatim.

    SECTION 2.    The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an agreement with Disabilities Media, Inc. for Public Communications Program funding for The Disabilities Forum. The form and content of the agreement shall be substantially as set forth in "Exhibit B" attached hereto and made a part hereof as fully as if set forth herein verbatim.

    SECTION 3.    The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an agreement with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Missouri for Public Communications Program funding for Juvenile Crime: Awareness and Prevention.  The form and content of the agreement shall be substantially as set forth in "Exhibit C" attached hereto and made a part hereof as fully as if set forth herein verbatim.

    SECTION 4.    The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an agreement with Comprehensive Human Services, Inc. –  The Shelter for Public Communications Program funding for Be the Messenger –  Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault in our Community.  The form and content of the agreement shall be substantially as set forth in "Exhibit D" attached hereto and made a part hereof as fully as if set forth herein verbatim.
