CITY COUNCIL MEETING - COLUMBIA, MISSOURI
NOVEMBER 2, 2000

INTRODUCTORY
    The City Council of the City of Columbia, Missouri met for a special meeting at 5:40 p.m., on Thursday, November 2, 2000, in the Council Chamber of the City of Columbia, Missouri. The roll was taken with the following results: Council Members JOHN, COFFMAN, HINDMAN, CRAYTON, JANKU, and CAMPBELL were present. Member CROCKETT was absent. The City Manager, City Counselor, Director of Finance and the City Clerk were also present.
 

OLD BUSINESS
B352-00     Authorizing sewage system revenue bonds.
    The bill was given second reading by the Clerk.
    Mr. Beck reported that this process would save the City approximately $650,000 in interest savings. This issue is for $2,440,000 in sanitary sewer bonds. He noted a summary table was provided showing the rates.
    Mr. Boeckmann pointed out that an amendment would be needed to Exhibit A which would specify dollar amounts and interest rates. In addition, the date of the ordinance should be changed to November 2, 2000.
    Mr. Campbell made the motion that B352-00 be amended per Mr. Boeckmann's suggestions. The motion was seconded by Mr. Janku and approved unanimously by voice vote.
    B352-00, as amended, was given third reading with the vote recorded as follows: VOTING YES: JOHN, COFFMAN, HINDMAN, CRAYTON, JANKU, CAMPBELL. VOTING NO: NO ONE. ABSENT: CROCKETT. Bill declared enacted, reading as follows:
    There being no further business the meeting adjourned at 5:45 p.m.
