Council Meetings
The city council conducts regular
meetings on the first and third Mondays of the
month. The meetings begin at 7:00 p.m. and are held
in the Council Chambers located in City Hall, 701

Boards
and Commissions
The City of Columbia's Boards and Commissions rely
on voluntary service by citizens of Columbia. Each
Board and Commission has specific prerequisites for
membership. Generally, openings for Boards and Commissions
are advertised on the fourth Sunday of the month in
both the Columbia Daily Tribune and the Columbia Missourian.
City Clerk's Office
The City Clerk is the secretary to the City Council
and is the legal custodian of the City's official
records, including the Code of Ordinances, meeting
minutes, resolutions, ordinances, and documents filed
by various departments. The City Clerk serves
at the pleasure of the Council.
