Each person driving a taxi or limousine for a company licensed within the City must obtain a Chauffeurs License. Application forms are available online or at the Business License Office, 701 East Broadway, Columbia, MO 65205. The license application fee is $10.00, and a criminal records check from the applicant's resident state will be obtained by the Business License Office upon completion of a “Disclosure and Authorization Form” by the applicant. The fee for a Missouri records check is $13.50. Please contact the Business License Office to obtain the fee for out of state records checks. Each chauffeur's license shall expire on the 30th day of June.
