The Finance Department is responsible for the administration, direction, and coordination of all financial services of the City involving financial planning, budgeting, treasury management, investments, purchasing, accounting, payroll, business licensing, insurance, and utility customer services.

It shall be unlawful for any person to transport, haul, convey or carry on or over the streets of the city, any contents of privies, contents of septic tanks, manure or garbage, unless licensed as a waste hauler. (Section 13-188)

All waste haulers must obtain a Business License. A separate waste hauler license application must be completed to license the vehicles. The fee is $10.00 for the first vehicle and $5.00 for each vehicle thereafter. Inspection and approval verification must be received from the City Waste Water Treatment Plant. A certificate of insurance showing liability coverage is also required.
