responsible for the
administration, direction,
and coordination of all
financial services of the
City involving financial
planning, budgeting,
treasury management,
investments, purchasing,
accounting, payroll,
business licensing,
insurance, and utility
customer services.
Transferring From One Residential Account to Another
- Submit request online, contact a Customer Service Representative at (573) 874-7380, or come to our
office at 725 E. Broadway
- Customers should contact us at least ONE day in advance of needing the utilities
transferred.
- The deposits paid on the old account will be transferred over to the new
account
- There is a $4 Transfer Fee which can be billed on the new account or paid
in person
- A $15 Same Day Service Charge can be paid to get the new account's utilities
turned on the same day as the request is made. However, the disconnecting
of the old account will be done on the next business day.
Disconnecting Residential Accounts
- Submit request online, contact a Customer Service Representative at (573) 874-7380, or come to our
office at 725 E. Broadway
- Customers will need to supply a forwarding address.
- Customers should contact us at least ONE day in advance of needing the utilities
transferred.
- Deposits will be applied to the final bill. Any amount left over will be
sent to the customer.
